If you need to cancel a workshop or experience

I try my best to price my workshops and throwing experiences fairly and offer good value for money. I therefore have a clear non-refundable policy to ensure I cover my costs and protect the ongoing viability of the workshops and throwing experiences.

I do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you can’t attend a workshop or throwing experience.

If you contact me at least 30 days in advance of the start date of the workshop, then I can offer a transfer to the same workshop on an alternative date, providing there are places available or a workshop is planned. If there are no suitable future dates, I can provide a voucher to be used for a future workshop booking. Throwing taster experiences cancelled at least 30 days in advance of the booking can be rearranged. Transfers must be requested and your new booking confirmed at least 30 days before the original event was due to take place.

If you contact me less than 30 days before your workshop or throwing experience booking I will not be able to provide you with a voucher, transfer you to another workshop or rearrange your throwing experience. I am however happy for you to send along a friend to take your place, I will need their name and contact details prior to the workshop or experience, please send this to me via email (details below).

My right to cancel a workshop or experience

Should I need to cancel a workshop or throwing experience due to unforeseen circumstances, I will give you as much notice as possible of the cancellation. Unfortunately, I cannot accept any liability for travel or other costs.

If not enough people book a workshop, I reserve the right to cancel, reschedule or postpone the session. If this happens I will give the people who have already booked as much notice as possible and offer a full credit or a refund - whichever they prefer.


Late Arrivals

If you arrive late to a throwing experience your session will still end at the pre-agreed time as there may be a session running after yours.
If you arrive late to a workshop, depending on how much time has elapsed and the type of workshop you may be unable to participate. This is if creating the object would be unachievable in the time remaining.

I hope you understand that I am a small business and every workshop or throwing experience I host, I am running with a passion for people to learn.


Vouchers and Throwing Experience Bookings

Throwing experiences and vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Throwing experiences and vouchers not booked within 1 year of purchase will no longer be valid. Throwing experiences and vouchers are non-refundable.
